I made these hats last year, I always want to try to felt something. But, I need the right yarn and I always forget to felt it the washer machine when I wash my jeans. This felting process was long but, more better than using your hands. I used jeans because the friction from the jeans can help the hat become a more solid fabric. REMEMBER if you are planing to felt any object make sure its 100% wool and make your project a little more bigger than usual or longer for the right fit or size. :D This hat did lost some inches lol.
