✏ Why a 2B Pencil?

A 2B pencil is one of the most accessible tools when it comes to drawing/writing. It gives rich, dark contrasts and greyscale for creating dimensions.

✏ Follow the Steps

• Step 1: Start With Light Outlines – Keep your grip relaxed and map the basic geometric shapes of your flower petals on your page without creating photorealism.
• Step 2: Start Establishing the Center First – This is the foundation of your flower, allowing the petals to layer naturally outward for depth.
• Step 3: Add Soft Shading & Texture – Use cross-hatching to create mood and contrast against a quiet background.
